Psalm 54

To the Chief Musician. With stringed instruments.^[a] A Contemplation^[b] of David when the Ziphites went and said to Saul, “Is David not hiding with us?”

¹ Save me, O God, by Your name,
And vindicate me by Your strength.
² Hear my prayer, O God;
Give ear to the words of my mouth.
³ For strangers have risen up against me,
And oppressors have sought after my life;
They have not set God before them. Selah

⁴ Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who uphold my life.
⁵ He will repay my enemies for their evil.
Cut them off in Your truth.

⁶ I will freely sacrifice to You;
I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good.
⁷ For He has delivered me out of all trouble;
And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies.

Thursday Ladies’ Bible Study: June 11, 2009

This Thursday Night is the Ladies’ Study in Ephesians.

We will be studying Ephesians 6:13-14.
Come out for prayer, study in God’s word, and fellowship.

Note from Susan:

Hello Ladies:

I have not emailed for quite a while, but we are nearing the end of our study in Ephesians. We will be picking up at Eph 6:13&14, starting into the armor of God. What a pertinent study for these times.

It will probably take a couple weeks to finish the book and then we will take a break. Plan to be there this week or next if you can and we will map our schedule for the summer and discuss our next book.

When we resume, it will be time to start thinking about our Ladies Christmas luncheon. Can you believe it?

I look forward to seeing you. This has been a powerful study and you have been faithful participants.
